I originally made this top because our family was going to Costa Rica for a week, but when we had to cancel the trip because of thunderstorms and rain, I thought I had wasted time creating this. coming out of my disappointment was difficult, but I found a new use for this garment. It has now become my summer of fun top. not only do the colors reflect my personality, but when I wear it, I’m not sad for long. this is created out of 27 granny squares, and each square was very easy to make after I learned the ropes.
